Project Title The effect of European languages in Singaporean shop signs affect on consumer perception

In this paper, I use the SPEAKING model (Hymes, 1974) and Multimodal Discourse
Analysis (O’Halloran, 2011) to conduct an inintegrated multimodal and linguistic analysis
of various shop signs, looking into their different aspects for a multi-faceted analysis.
