|Project Title||The Fault In Our A*s|
Zachary is a sports-loving boy whose grades just can't meet the cut.
Anastasia is an intelligent girl who never fails to meet her parents' expectations.
They are best friends, bonded together in a troubling time -- their final year of Primary education.
The last of their spare time is ripped out of their hands only to be replaced with tuition and practice papers. They study from the first day of school to the night before the exams. Students are fraught with stress and anxiety. Fights break out between classmates; quarrels erupt between parent and child.
At the end of the day, everyone's goal is the same. Students wish to get into a good secondary school. Parents demand their children do so as well.
But will their blood, sweat and tears pay off?
The Fault in our A*s is a play that intends to explore the PSLE and the reality of its impacts on Singaporean students and their parents.
