Finding the effects of different substances on bacteria

Synopsis

Developing countries have poor refrigeration and cannot keep food given out by the

authorities for long.

 The people also obtain food from cheaper markets.

The markets are neglected by food safety authorities and the food is usually

‘prepared in unhealthy conditions.

Therefore, the food is unsafe due to unhealthy conditions and lack of refrigeration.

So, if we can add certain edible substances in the food with bactericidal properties,

 it can be preserved longer, and decrease instances of food poisoning.
